Likeness sculpture for music video production
This summer I have participated in the music video production of a popular russian rapper Husky. My tasks were sculpting, modeling, cloth simulation and texturing likeness-sculpture for the final shots in the desert.
Here’s a timelapse/in-depth breakdown with commentary video of that particular asset I have made for this video. Also, some screen grabs of WIP on the statue-asset.

First day of sculpting
I was provided a basic 3d scan of artist’s face that was made on set during the process of filming some shots for the music video and was tasked to create a likeness sculpt, work on some garments, texture it and pose it, so that it could be used in the final shots of the music video.

Quick renders of the final look of the digital sculpt of the face. I have applied procedural materials to approximate the final look of the asset
Pose reference images provided by the team. So the initial idea was to make a sculpture to represent a hybrid between the roman emperor and the Statue of Liberty.
Quickly overpainting to look how garment simulation would look like
