My personal Blender theme, Purgatory. It’s designed for people who appreciate gray themes, zen-like calmness, good readability, and a balance between themes that are too dark or too bright. It aims to be easy on the eyes when working in both dark and bright environments. This is an updated version. Enjoy.

Compatible with Blender versions 2.8+ and up.

The Purgatory theme now comes in two versions:

Purgatory Light

Purgatory Dark (Almost identical to Blender’s default dark theme with minor tweaks.)

I switch between the two from time to time to ease eye strain during nighttime work sessions.

Installation:

Either apply the theme directly via Blender’s Preferences (Edit -> Preferences -> Themes -> Install… and select the XML file) or manually place the XML file into your Blender scripts folder (scripts/presets/interface_theme/) and then select it from the Themes dropdown in Preferences.
